Hi guys!
It’s very interesting these days on the Waypoint forums these days. There is a thread that really catched my attention. In that thread we try to find out what is the ancient threat. What is this thing at the end of that Concept Art video from Halo Fest (which I couldn’t go to).
Now, almost everybody knows the answer. It’s most likely a precursor. My guess, and the guess of most people is that it’s the Timeless one (AKA last Precursor) , the prisoner from Charum Hakkor. How we got to that?
Well, one very smart person wathced the map from Halo: CE Anniversary (the map is called Sollitary I believe, old name was Prison). When you look throught the windows, you actually see that it looks a lot like the place where Halo 4 is gonna take. Also, there is a giant blue circle which looks like a Halo ring. With that we realized that this map is the prison of the Timeless one. Now, there is a big window. It wouldn’t be special if it wasn’t………………………………………………… BROKEN!!!
This tells us the Prisoner escaped and that he’s gonna be a real pain in the ass in Halo 4.
I love it how 343i makes their maps so that they aren’t just any maps, but actually tell a story and help you out. This is gonna be soooo exciting.
By the way, there is one more thing I’d like to show. I accidentally watched that video, I didn’t want to, but I did so it’s too late for me. There is a leaked sequence from Halo 4 (most likely) and it’s very interesting, but it may be a thrown away idea so it might not be in the game. Here it is. If you don’t want to watch it, well, just don’t watch it.
